pH Sciences, Inc. was founded by a small group of individuals who wanted
to spread the word about the negative effects of destructive acid in the
body and to develop affordable and safe ways to reduce acid for optimal
health.
Macit Gurol, the founder of a Seattle-based product research
and development company, invented and patented the pH Sciences Alka-Plex
formula that is used in many pH Sciences products. This complex has the
ability to
deliver an alkaline level of 10.6 pH safely into the body. The original
reason for developing this formula arose when Mr. Gurol experienced a
severe case
of heartburn from drinking French roast coffee. After concluding that
the heartburn was caused by the high acid content of the coffee, Mr.
Gurol invented a food
additive to control acid in foods and beverages. It wasn't until other
people tried the product and told him of additional health benefits they
experienced while using his food additive that he realized the magnitude
of what
he had
invented.
Mr. Gurol and his team found that Alka-Plex was effective in promoting
health in areas of the body outside the traditional acidic environment of the
stomach. Continuing years of research has revealed various delivery mechanisms
that provide optimal effectiveness to reduce acid in different parts of the
body. After continued testing and research we reached a point where we felt
compelled to share our discoveries with the world.
